FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is there a heavy pole in the base to keep the blind down?+
Yes – there is a steel pole in the base, but its purpose is to help the blind roll up neatly into a round "sausage" shape. We install a securing system in the corners of the openings (out of the way of feet), and you fasten the left and right sides when the blind is down. This keeps it in place in the wind and stops it bumping into furniture or people.
Why velcro and not zips or eyelets?+
We use an industrial zip in doorways only, so the door opens from either side and never needs re-aligning. On blinds and panels we use velcro: it's user friendly, UV stabilised, attaches quickly and never rusts or breaks off like eyelets.
How are the sides closed off against rain, wind and cold?+
We use 5cm-wide UV stabilised velcro on both the blinds and the custom-made panels, to join blinds to walls, poles or one another.
What is the guarantee?+
There is a 24-month warranty on the product, installation and workmanship.
How are the panels put together?+
Using high-frequency welding, which creates a continuous, reinforced, waterproof seam.
Is the product UV treated?+
Yes. Both the coloured reinforced section and the clear window section are UV stabilised for a longer life.
Why is the product so strong?+
The interwoven base cloth gives it the flexibility, strength and durability to stand up to the elements.
Is it waterproof?+
100% waterproof – you can even wash the blinds directly with a garden hose.
